There are many Chee Cheong Fun stalls around town and what makes the chee cheong fun delicious depends very much on the sauce that accompany it. There is this stall in a coffee shop in Section 17 Petlaing Jaya. It is situated along Jalan 17/29 same block with Kuan Yin Vegetarian Restaurant. The chee cheong fun here has been selling for 50sen a piece and the price has not increased for many years already. The sauce that goes with the chee cheong fun is perfect so I can understand why one of my friend is such a regular customer that he has to visit this stall everyday to start off his day.
When vegetarian food is not not to be found, it is always a safe bet if you can find a shop/stall selling rice rice noodles (chee cheong fun) as most of the time you can request for a vegetarian version of it. Madras Lane Rice Noodles is a good place to eat as ambience is pleasant and clean and staffs are friendly and very accommodating to your special requests.
