Used to like to visit this restaurant but lately I find that the place is not as warm and friendly. The food is still alright but the maintenance of the restaurant is not up to standard. They used to give a 10% discount for purchases at the mini mart but have been informed that they have stopped the practice.

Very busy organizing gatherings to catch up with old friends and this time it is another gathering with another set of friends. There were altogether 10 of us, so we could order more dishes to try out. My friends were happy with the food but I think they are not too happy with the place as it is very crowded during weekends. The air-conditioning is not strong enough to support the big crowd and as a result all of us were perspiring halfway through the food and the noise too is unbearable. We all have to speak very loudly causing our throats to dry out and turning coarse. Fortunately enough and correct timing too, the manager just presented us with a very sweet and juicy plate of organic papaya after our meal and informed that we need not have to pay for it! WOW, how thoughtful of her.

Lucky I had made reservation for a table two days before our get together with some friends as the place was all packed without a vacant table. We quickly placed our orders and then sat back to do our catching up as all of us had not met for sometime. We were all quite hungry and was glad that the food arrived very fast. I am happy that my friends, who are all not vegetarians, had trusted me with my choices of dishes and found the food to be interesting and delicious. Afterall this is my fifth visit and I am definitely coming back for more and hope to recommend it to more people.

As I was so satisfied with the food and the environment of this restaurant, I had decided to bring more friends to share my experience. It was good that we had gone a bit earlier at around 12 noon as more guests soon poured in and in no time at all the restaurant was already fully occupied. I strongly recommend the shitake mushrooms which is cooked like the conches - 響螺 with some mixed vegetables and the taste too is so delicious. The 茶王 too is quite unique as it leaves a distinct flavor and fragrance after taste in the mouth, long after you swallow the tea.

Nestled in a corner of Bandar Utama, very near to trees and natural envioroment at the Basement of Casa Utama is this cosy modern day restaurant. It has a mini market selling food, groceries and household items. You can choose to sit in non-smoking or smoking, non air-conditioned or airconditioned area. Staffs are very friendly and the chef too was at hand to recommend special choices of dishes. Dishes served were not oily, not saltly and you do not experience the thirsty feeling later. Totally a wholesome and healthy experience. Do try it out. You can park in their car park and claim a refund of RM5 when settling the bill.
