A non-vegetarian restaurant that offers authentic Malaysian nasi lemak (coconut rice with blended chilli sauce). They also have other Malaysian hawker food like Hainanese Chicken Rice, Curry Laksa, Loh Mee, etc.

The belacan (chilli paste) can be quite spice, but not to worry, as the famous Lygon Street gelati are just a stone's throw away. (For Malaysians + durian lovers: Fredos serve a durian flavored gelati)

A newly opened restaurant. Fairly economical pricing.
This is a typical Malaysian Chinese Restaurant, which offer a full-range menu and also individual rice / noodle dishes.

We tried the "Indian mee", "Hokkien Mee" and also "Yin-Yang Fish (a 'fish' with one half of it topped with minced-ginger and the half with special soy-sauce.)

I loved the yin-yang fish!

There is a huge variety of other food on the menu, including "chap fan". Definitely going back for more. Personally, I'd try the claypot rice, japanese meal set, shanghainese dumpling noodles and also the loh mee, as they looked sooo good.
For you western food lovers, fear not, there's also western food on the menu. The pics looked really good but I've not tried or seen anyone eating it yet.
