Morning market is always so busy and bustling with people buying veggie and all types of food and also there will be many others who go there for breakfast. There are many food stalls selling different kinds of food and after going round I found that there are two vegetarian stalls and one of them is this Miao Xiang Vegetarian. They sell soup/dried noodles, dumplings, kuehs and mixed vegetarian rice. Do try them out when around the area as their food is tasty and price is cheap.

Our Singaporean friends recommended this restaurant and we are pleased with the food and the service. One of the partners Mr Tommy Tsau was there to recommend a few of their specialties. The sugarcane flower is something special as not many restaurants offer this dish and the combination of it with mushrooms and capsicum made the dish really delicious. Oyster & Fish was good too as the mushrooms were prepared to be like oysters and cooked together with fish and serai was so tasty.
Desserts

After the 'jui kueh' found a dessert stall and my favorite black sesame paste. Ordered a bowl and found that it is too starchy. Do not recommend.
Black sesame paste-$1.40

After the vegetarian rice dish, we walked around the whole food court to check if there are other vegetarian dishes we can get to try and found these little bowls of white rice cakes which Singaporeans call as 'jui kueh'. Topped with chopped raddish gravy, it becomes such a tasty and delicious light snack. They are priced at $1.00 for 4 pieces.

I make sure I always eat from this vegetarian stall whenever I am at the Bedok Interchange. Choices are plentiful and the dishes are all so tasty and delicious. Price is so reasonable and helping so generous. Rice with 3 dishes costs $2.00 whereas noodles/meehoon with 3 dishes costs $2.50.
