Heaven on Earth - Part 2. Perfect dessert to put an end to a hectic day, minus the unhealthy fats found in cakes and chips. A bowlful of berries only contain less than 80 calories and a 1/4 cup of bacardi breezer will only add about 30-40 calories to it, making it a 120 calorie dessert that will actually fill you up.

Tea was charged at $12 for 2 persons, peanuts was $6, radish cake was $13, Shanghai siu loong pau was $15, cheong fun was 415 and the dessert - yin sai pang was $18. Was told that this dessert is only available during the celebration of the Buddha's birthday. Total bill came to $87 ( inclusive of 10% service tax).

Inflight vegetarian meal - IndianThis Indian vegetarian meal on board has a small plate of dhall beans. I find the beans are not well cooked and are still quite hard to the bite. Then there is a chinese pau to go with margarine. The main dish consists of vegetarian curry chicken, some vegetables and rice. Finally Chinese tea was offered to help wash down the food. I find the main dish was tasty.

This is my second visit to Honeymoon Dessert House. There are still quite a few more desserts which I would like to try out like those under Water Chestnut Soup, Black Sago, Sesame Cream. We had ordered the Durian Pancake also but as it was so appealing, we ate the whole thing up and had forgotten to take a photo of it. Definitely will order it again at our next visit.

It was like an urge, a need, perhaps, to promote vegetarianism to our friends, before we finally decided to hold a vegetarian bbq at our place. After a series of cautious planning, we finally came up with a long list of food to present to our "carnivorous" friends, and hope that they would like it.
Our shopping list:
Fresh:
Capsicums, pumpkins, brown onions, eggplant, sweet potatoes, pot mushrooms
Supermarket:
Hash browns, wedges, pita bread, pasta, pasta sauce, diced tomatoes, canned mixed beans, preserved olives (sliced), butter, salt, garlic bread, drinks
Asian Grocery:
Rice Flour, Soy Sauce, preserved radish (diced), fried tofu blocks, curry paste
Assorted vege (Zucchini, eggplant, pumpkin, mushrooms, tofu cubes)
Mixed beans
Pasta (Chinese Style)
Pizza - made by a true Italian! Absolutely dreamy!!!!! pizza is made to perfection!
Hot Cross Buns!
Hash Browns
Rice Cakes - Char Tau Kueh (Malaysian street food!)
- Highlight of the night!
(recipe coming soon!)
We forgot to take pics of the CUTE tofu balls! But here's the recipe
