When we arrived at the Kuan Yin Temple at around 1.30pm, the lunch time crowd has already disappeared and so are all the food too. There are only a few dishes left for the mixed rice and they are also already cold. I proceeded to another stall and was informed that there is still a bowl of pumpkin and fun kott soup available. It is suppose to go with rice but as there is no more rice left, the stall owner suggested that she will boil some meehoon for me to go with the soup. Some shredded beetroot, carrots. cabbage and some green vege were added and finally a generous amount of sesame seeds were sprinkled onto it. I have never thought of preparing a soup with this type of combination but somehow it gives the meehoon a very unique and special taste
Meehoon soup - RM 3.80

Hopefully, through this site, the lives of some animals can be spared. Always remember, animals have feelings too, they are our friends not our meal.
