Kwangsin Vege Corner, Lot 11, Dataran Maybank, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
Tucked away in a corner of the Foodcourt at Dataran Maybank, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur is a vegetarian stall run by a few buddhist nuns from a kuan yin temple in Jalan Genting Kelang. The food here is really tasty and healthy as they are less oily and salty. They are quite creative as well with the choice of ingredients used in the combination of individual dishes.
Stall No.11
Dishes being served for the day
Fried noodles with salted vege and vege roast pork
Rice with gingko nuts, vege curry and luffa
In this dish, the gingko was fried together with bamboo pith, luffa was together with shredded bean curd sheet which looks very much like scrambled eggs and the vege curry was the normal ones with potatoes, cabbage, brinjal and long beans. Barley was boiled with the sweetened melon strips so sugar need not be added. Total bill came to RM15 together with the barley drinks.
