Name: Purple Cane Teahouse
Location: Basement of Gardens, Midvalley, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Taste = ****
Atmosphere = *****
Service = ****
Price = $$$$
Location = very convenient for tourists
How to get there = KTM to Midvalley, most of the buses and taxis
Notes: the emphasize on low salt, low sugar, minimal oil, hence some might find the food a little too pure. All food is cooked with some tealeaves. This is not a pure vegetarian restaurant.
Tea Soup Noodles (Vegetarian) and Lo Hon Zhai
I also love their chinese dessert. they are definitely a must try.

Assam Fish Set
There is a huge variety of other food on the menu, including "chap fan". Definitely going back for more. Personally, I'd try the claypot rice, japanese meal set, shanghainese dumpling noodles and also the loh mee, as they looked sooo good.
For you western food lovers, fear not, there's also western food on the menu. The pics looked really good but I've not tried or seen anyone eating it yet.
